Remembrance of Halabja

Please join members of the Calgary Kurdish community to commemorate Halabja Remembrance Day. This event is to remember and honor the victims of the Halabja chemical attack, one of the most tragic events in the world and the Kurdish history.

We will come together to pay our respects, share stories, and strengthen our bonds as a community. The event will feature:

Speeches from community members.

A moment of silence for the victims.

Kurdish music.

This is an opportunity for us to stand in solidarity and look forward to a future of peace and justice. Everyone is welcome to join us in this important remembrance.
